FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 12, 2011
Bobby
Sabatino, owner of Sabatino Motorsports says he can’t wait for the start of the
2012 racing season. Sabatino has hired Wyatt Motorsports driver, Casey Wyatt to
drive for him in 2012. Casey currently fields the #29 Whelen-All American
Series Late Model Stock Car at Langley Speedway.
Bobby
stated “I have known Casey and his family for many years and respect his
ability not only to drive a car, but the knowledge he brings with him on
chassis set up and his feel for what the car needs to get it in victory lane.”
Sabatino’s plans are for Casey to compete in all scheduled races at Langley
Speedway in NASCAR’s Whelen All-American Series. Our goals are to win the
Langley Speedway track championship and the National Championship. Wyatt will
start working on the car soon after Langley Speedways year end Modified event in
October.
While
Wyatt’s Late Model team will stay at its home in Newport News VA, the #03
Modified will be housed at Sabatino Motorsports in Richmond VA.
Casey
states “Bobby has great equipment and a great group of guys. I’m looking
forward to getting into the car and testing as soon as I can. My Late Model and
the Modified chassis I will be racing are built by Creech Motorsports. Creech
and I have already discussed some ideas we would like to try during the off
season.”
In
addition to a full Modified schedule, Wyatt’s current Late Model sponsors have
expressed that they plan to continue to
support him in 2012, which will allow him to compete full time in both the Late
Model and Modified series at Langley Speedway.
