Newport News, VA- The entertainment factor of Casey’s racing, by all accounts was certainly lacking in his April 21st twin 50 Late Model Stock Car races. The team decided to try a different set up, which proved to be less than impressive when it came to race time.
All day in practice, Casey averaged 5th fastest, qualified 5th and placed 5th in both features; never feeling as if he had a racy car at all the entire evening. The team looks to improve on its set up this week and return to the racing style it opened the season with.
The two top 5 finishes Casey added to his stats for the season did set him in the 3rd place in Late Model point standings; just 1 point behind Greg Edwards and only 9 behind current division leader and reigning champion CE Falk.
